We are thrilled to announce that Bonnie Craigs Ranch, a 5,260-acre working cattle ranch in Shasta County, is now permanently protected!

Cared for by the same family for more than 150 years, this remarkable ranch is home to beautiful oak woodlands, grasslands, creeks, natural springs, and an incredible diversity of wildlife.

Thanks to the dedication of the landowners and the support of our community, Bonnie Craigs Ranch will remain a place where cattle graze, creeks flow, wildlife roam, and future generations can continue making memories on the land.

🌅🎷 Now THAT was a beautiful night! ✨

Sunset Symphony gave us just about everything we could have asked for: gorgeous weather, a stunning sunset over the Sacramento River, incredible live music, and a wonderful crowd to enjoy it all with! 💚

The North State Jazz Orchestra absolutely filled the evening with beautiful, smooth jazz, and we are so thankful for all the time, practice, and heart they put into making this performance so special. 🎶

One of our favorite parts of the night was seeing so many new faces alongside familiar friends! Events like these give us a chance to come together, enjoy the beauty of Northern California, and celebrate the special places we’re all working to protect.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening one to remember! 🌿

We loved spending the evening with you, and we hope to see you at the next one! 💚✨

🌿 Field Friday! 🌿

Rain or shine, our Lands Team is out in the field doing the work that makes conservation possible!

On field days like these, our Lands Committee visits potential conservation projects to get to know the land firsthand. They look at wildlife habitat, native plants, waterways, working lands, important natural resources, and other conservation values that help us understand what makes each property special and worth protecting.

We’re so grateful for the time and expertise our team brings to this work and for your support that helps make it all possible! 💚
