Bullying is not always loud.
Sometimes it looks like a group text that leaves one person out. A rumor that keeps moving. A screenshot sent around. A joke that stops feeling like a joke. Someone being made small in front of other people.
For children and teens, those moments can be carried into the rest of the day. They can change sleep, confidence, mood, appetite, school attendance, friendships, and the way a child sees themselves.
Kindness matters, but so does taking it seriously.
If a child tells you they are being mocked, excluded, threatened, or humiliated, pause long enough to listen. What may look small from the outside can feel very big to the person carrying it.
