What an incredible day at Dilworth Middle School!

Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada recently hosted a Career Speaker Panel, giving students the chance to hear real stories from professionals across a wide range of industries. From technology and construction to law enforcement, education, workforce development, and beyond, students got an inside look at what different career paths can look like and the many ways to get there.

Our amazing panelists didn’t just talk about their jobs; they shared honest stories about the twists, turns, challenges, and opportunities that helped shape their journeys. Students were engaged, curious, and asked some fantastic questions throughout the event!

Local students confidently shared the products they’ve grown, the businesses they’ve built, and the lessons they’re learning through hands-on education. The creativity, professionalism, and enthusiasm these students brought to the Capitol was incredible.

We are thrilled to spotlight Junior Achievement’s very first participant in our High School Heroes program—Evan Cooper! 👏

Evan went above and beyond by completing all five sessions of JA Ourselves, bringing financial literacy and important life lessons to the kindergarten students in Ms. Tinnin’s class at Hidden Valley Elementary School.

A special thank you to Ms. Tinnin for her continued dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for her students. Her commitment to bringing programs like Junior Achievement into the classroom helps inspire and empower young learners every day. 🍎
