Digital consent is an ongoing conversation, not a one-time click.
Here is what you need to know:
Consent can be revoked: Just because you shared an intimate photo once does not mean you consent to it being shared again or anywhere else.
Pressure is a red flag: True consent is freely given. Guilt-tripping or threats are never okay.
Sextortion is a crime: If someone threatens to expose your private images unless you send money or more photos, that is illegal blackmail.
Feel like you have no options? Don’t pay, don’t delete the messages, and do block the user.
Save and share this to protect someone you love!
Drop a 💙 in the comments if you believe your digital safety matters.
If you are dealing with online extortion, please visit https://report.cybertip.org/ or contact your local authorities for immediate help.
What does digital consent really look like online? How can young people recognize sextortion, manipulation, and unsafe digital behavior before it escalates?
Join us LIVE for an important conversation on Sextortion & Digital Consent as part of our Healthy Relationships Campaign. Our guest speakers will discuss online safety, boundaries, consent, warning signs, and how we can better support youth navigating digital relationships.
📲 Tune in live, join the conversation, and share this post to help raise awareness.
Healthy relationships should exist online too.

Manipulation can slowly damage confidence, trust, and emotional safety...especially for young people still learning what healthy relationships look like. Open conversations, trusted support systems, and relationship education are protective factors that help youth recognize red flags and build healthier connections.
