Behind every number in these slides is a person finding their way back to safety. From answering 289 crisis calls to assisting with 15 TPO applications, our team has been on the front lines, ensuring that no one has to face domestic or sexual violence alone.
May was also an incredible special month for us as we received commendation from Senator Rosen and Senator Cortez-Masto at the Northern Nevada Legal Aid Voices for Justice Luncheon: A Brighter Tomorrow!
These "wins" aren't just statistics; they're lives saved. We are incredibly proud of this work, but we canβt do it without our community of supporters. Your donations directly fund the crisis line, the housing, and the legal help these survivors rely on.

June is Men's Health Awareness Month, a vital time to encourage open conversations about men's well-being. 1 in 7 men will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes. This number may even be underreported due to the stigma surrounding male victims of domestic violence.
Let's challenge harmful stereotypes, encourage men to seek support when needed, and work towards a world where healthy relationships and respect are universal. Awareness is the first step towards change.

Domestic violence and su***de are often tragically connected. Survivors of domestic violence face a significantly higher risk of suicidal thoughts and attempts. This is a painful reality that we need to talk about.
Resources for those experiencing suicidal thoughts or domestic violence:
π Su***de & Crisis Hotline: 988
π Safe Embrace Hotline: 775-322-3466
Please share this post to spread awareness about domestic violence and su***de.
