We achieved our initial goal! We're now hoping to raise an additional $500 to save our crew from some final costs, as we had projected a $ 3000 budgtet. Thanks so much for your support!

It’s open to anyone who wants to make art and be part of a creative community, and they run on their version of Burning Man’s Ten Principles.

Hey all, things have been hectic. One of our dearest friends, Brad Cooper, died in a car accident early Friday morning. It was going to be his virgin year on playa and we were looking forward to hosting him in our camp.

Due to this, we are going to petition Burning Man to burn the piece, something we had never intended. We hope this can more deeply reflect the loss our community is facing. Brad's mother is likewise a veteran Burner, and we hope burning this may serve as a testament to the impact one may have on Burning Man without actually attending the event. We will still keep the books alive following the project however, as we still intend for people to use this as a creative space.

In line with this change, we are cancelling the kickstarter as the topmost gifts (and a variety of others) will be burned with the piece, and these constituted a significant amount of the funding we had thus far received.

We will be launching a smaller scale campaign in the coming days. Please understand that while the destiny of this project may change, we are still going to keep the entire scope of what we build the same.

Artists Creating The Library of Babel for Burning Man Ambitious projects for Burning Man are taking shape at The Generator in Sparks. One project is not only getting the support of artists, but also from the Burning Man and Sierra Arts Foundations.

Our walls created via Ghiri tiles in progress. This will be a four color screen print on 8'x4' walls. We're screen printing almost 100 walls with Ghiri tiles.

Practice makes perfect.

More experimenting. We're about to dial this guy in on some high quality wood.
