CAP is part of the second and fourth grade curriculum of the Washoe County School District. CAP serves 10,000 children each year.

Child Assault Prevention strives to empower children to be “Safe, Strong and Free” through education and prevention programs designed to increase children’s safety from abuse and assault. Workshops are conducted by two trained CAP facilitators working together as a team to present the material. Three common victimization scenarios children encounter are introduced: a Bully, a Stranger, and a Known

I’m feeling sad for all of the kids out there who’s dads are so into themselves that they can’t see how fabulous their children are. Not mentioning any names but if this is YOU!!?? Look beyond yourself and into your children’s world! Be there! Be a part of the magic and fun that is parenthood!
