The U.S House of Representatives was created to be the office closest to the people, the Founders wanted people elected to Congress who were deeply tied to their communities and their lived experiences.

I believe the biggest issue in government today is that the House is no longer serving it’s original purpose. It has turned into a place that represents corporations, billionaires, and party elitism rather than the people.
