Summer is waining, and many of our Summer Reading Program readers have headed back to school. We were so impressed by the number of books read, and the wide range of boooks explored. Once again Ethan Ventura was our Most Prolific Reader, but I can tell he is going to have some tough competition next year! I hope everyone keeps up their strong reading habits throughout the winter.

Many thanks again to Stewart's Shops, I Love Books, Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza, and Country Square W**e and Liquor (we do have adult Summer Readers!) for their kind donations of program prizes. Please support these local businesses, as they have supported us so generously.

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Lawn Party and for your generous support of the Rensselaerville Library. And, thank you to Mame and Victor Schrager for your gracious support and generosity.

Thank you Donna Kropp and Judy Crilley for creating such a fun and successful event. And, a big thanks to Chef Paul Ventura, and musician Joe Frisino for accompanying the event. Thank you Congressman Paul Tonko for your continued support, and thank you to Rich Amedure and Janet Tweed for your support.

Thank you to all of our extraordinary volunteers for all of your help and to everyone who contributed all of the delicious food.
