Have questions about your Medicare options? Join us tonight at Renton Library for a presentation by a trained SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) volunteer. Learn what’s coming up during open enrollment and get answers to your questions.

This week is Banned Books Week, “an annual national event...that celebrates the freedom to read, highlights the value of free and open access to information, and opposes book censorship in schools and libraries.” — https://bannedbooksweek.org/about/

Join us for a screening of the award-winning film "The Librarians" on Wednesday, October 7 at 6pm. We’ll have a discussion with KCLS librarians after the film.

You can also view a gorgeous art installation by Amaranta Arte Y Cultura, on display through October 19.

From the artist: “This art installation advocates for the freedom to read and express oneself, raise awareness about literacy, emphasizing the transformative power of knowledge over censorship.”

Renton Library is partnering with Solid Ground to offer free Medicare assistance from trained SHIBA volunteers.
