Starting today, as a trial/pilot, tablet calling hours will be 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a break from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Originally, the tablets were scheduled to be off from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Administration has agreed to pilot the shorter break from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This change is intended to give workers additional time to return to the building and still have an opportunity to make a call to their loved ones.

We’ll keep everyone updated as the pilot continues. ❤️

IFC spoke with Administration regarding the weekend issues and discussed other processes that could help streamline the feeding process so the guys are not going down to breakfast at noon or experiencing extended delays.
They acknowledged changes needed to be made. Staffing levels are significantly lower on weekends, and they made decisions out of an abundance of caution. They are working on adjustments now to help ensure the process runs more smoothly moving forward.
They are also on a PSR today, and IFC should have an update later this afternoon. We also asked about family visits for Wednesday and should have an update on that later today as well.
