Adams Township.
As fall approaches, its a great time to assure that the road right of ways on your property are clear and mailboxes are set back.

Road right of ways on most - not all - township roads are 30'. That generally means from the center of the road, 30' on to the property. Do not park vehicles, plant trees, place landscaping, yard signs or any other obstructions within this area.

Mailboxes should be set back 8" from the edge of the road. The snow plows need the room to properly clear the roads. The township (and most public entities) do not take responsibility for mailboxes damaged by snow thrown from the plows.

We appreciate your assistance!!
