The Kindergarteners and 1st graders were tasked with stacking 6 "eyeballs" vertically using only 2 containers of Play-Doh. There was a lot of teamwork and problem solving involved!

HAWK PACKS! Call the school office if you are interested!

Dear Republic-Michigamme Schools Family:

We are pleased to announce that we will again be offering “Hawk Packs” (packs filled with perishable and non-perishable food) to help bridge the gap over the weekend for our students that may experience shortages. Packs will be assembled and delivered each Friday throughout the school year. The tentative start date for this school year is Friday, November 6th.

How do you sign up to receive a Hawk Pack? If you would like to be considered to have your children receive a Hawk Pack every weekend, please fill out the bottom part of this letter and return it to the Republic-Michigamme Schools office ASAP.

NOTE: Those receiving a Hawk Packs will be kept confidential.

What can you do to help? We accept monetary donations in order to help purchase food to distribute. You can also help by volunteering your time to assemble the Hawk Packs. If you are interested in volunteering your time, or are interested in contributing financially, please mark the box on the bottom portion of this letter and return it to the Republic-Michigamme Schools office.

We live in a beautiful area with great neighbors and friends. We are a school community and family that comes together to help each other, regardless of situations. Please join us in helping our students, if you are able, as we reach out together to help each other.

🚧 PLAYGROUND SAFETY REMINDER 🚧

We know everyone is excited about our NEW playground, and we can’t wait for our students to enjoy it! ❤️

However, we’ve heard that some children have been playing on the playground while installation is still in progress.

For everyone’s safety, please stay off the playground until installation is complete and the yellow caution tape has been removed. This applies to students and children outside of school hours, too.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep everyone safe! Thank you for understanding! 🧡🖤

We anticipate the playground to be done next week sometime!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday, November 3rd, and Wednesday, November 4th, from 4:30-7:00 each day. Elementary parents need to call and schedule a 15 minute appointment with the teacher. Middle and high school families can just come during those alotted times.
