Sailors assigned to Navy Recruiting District Los Angeles held a very special Hoo-yah Physical Training event at the Van Nuys Aquatic Center on Nov 20th. NSW/NSO Staff members along with Delayed Entry Program Recruits, that are in the Navy’s Advance Programs, participated in their monthly physical screening test which incorporates a timed 1.5 run, a 500 yard swim, pull-ups, sit-ups and pushups. The screening is used to insure each DEPR is within physical readiness standards before leaving for boot camp.
