**Girls Basketball Registration Is Closing Soon!**

Don’t miss out! Registration for the **City of Rexburg Girls Basketball Program** closes **September 21**.

**Registration Fee:** $70 per player

This team of certified members of the community trains to assist with local emergency response and disaster needs.

The next course begins tomorrow evening, and this is your sign to join them! 🚸
Register NOW to get involved in our community and learn how to prepare to help your friends and family here at home.

The upcoming disaster/emergency preparedness CERT classes start Wednesday, Sept. 9. Please share this with someone you'd like to join you at the course and on the scene.

Madison County CERT Course Basic Academy
Rexburg - Every Wednesday, starting September 9, 2026
Weekly 7:00 pm-9:30 pm for approximately 9 weeks. Ends Saturday, Nov. 14, with a mock disaster.
Location: Madison Memorial Hospital
South Grand Teton Room (includes Stop the Bleed certification and 2-way radio communications)

In honor of Labor Day, City Hall and our affiliated offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th. Emergency services will remain in operation as usual.

Trash & recycling pickup normally scheduled for Monday, the 7th, will be picked up on Tuesday, the 8th. 🗑️ ♻️

Rexburg Races is excited to announce “The Speedy Spud Circuit” as the newest race to our line up!

Put your running and eating skills to the test during this harvest season. This 5k course will be four laps around Nature Park with Blisters BBQ fries, Bakers Dozen donuts, and Reeds Dairy chocolate milk placed at each lap and is a true test of your gastrointestinal and cardiovascular strength.
The start and finish line will take place around Nature Park in Rexburg with the start and finish line near the pickleball courts.

Participants will receive a T-Shirt and medal if you register by September 10th.
Date: September 26th, 2026
Time: 12pm
Cost: $25 Full Grown Potatoes (ages 13 and up)
$10 Mini-Spuds (ages 12 and under)
Race Check In: Nature Park Southeast Gazebo
