4 members from Truro Township recently attended a 3-day Engine operation class.

The class focused on perfecting the initial line, proper, efficient hose movement, and operating under high stress and heat to simulate real life scenarios.

FDTN offers multiple courses that our members attend to continue improving fireground proficiency.

Over the past four days two members traveled to FDTN for their RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) Class.

The class covered firefighter survival, firefighter RIT operations, and the class capped off with realistic firefighter rescue scenarios. They finished the training off with a “Train the Trainer” day where the members learned the in’s and out’s of the class so they can better bring what they learned home.

FDTN offers a wide range of classes under realistic conditions to give our members the best training opportunities possible.
