We ❤️ showing off our campus and getting people excited for college. And that’s just what we got to do last week during College Visit Day.

In one jam-packed morning, students from area high schools got to visit three programs they are interested in. They participated in hands-on activities, learned about potential careers, and experienced campus.

Celebrating Manufacturing Month with a visit from the Governor!

We were honored to host Governor Tony Evers and his staff earlier this week to learn more about our manufacturing programs.

The conversations highlighted the programs we offer, employer demand, academic partners, and the challenges of rural manufacturing and engineering education.

The visit also included a tour of Birchwoods Center, our hub of manufacturing education.

Members of the Nicolet Tribal Students & Alumni Club brought the spirit of Indigenous Peoples Day to campus, sharing vibrant traditions and stories with our community.

Highlights included a cultural showcase, delicious native foods, and a talk by author, speaker, and Ho-Chunk Nation member Sherman Funmaker, who encouraged everyone to share their story - because we all have one.

This is what supporting our community looks like đź‘€

Students, faculty, and alumni of the School of Health & Human Services have been busy outside of the classroom this month!

🕯️ Last week, Nicolet College, the Oneida County Health Department, and other community partners sponsored Light Up the Night for Recovery. The focus of this annual event is to reduce the stigma around substance use and mental health challenges, and connect individuals and families with local resources and support.

🚶‍♀️‍➡️ A group of Nicolet Student Nurse Club members recently participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Hodag Dome. The students completed the 2-mile walk while helping raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and showing support for individuals, families, and caregivers affected by dementia. The club also recently tied fleece blankets to donate to the Tri-County Council domestic violence shelter.

đź’™ We're proud to see learning and passions leave the classroom and support our community!
