I want to take a moment to share an update regarding the Clerk of Courts race.

When I initially made the decision to run, it was with the understanding that the position would be open. My intent was to step forward and serveโ€”not to run against the incumbent.

With the recent decision by the current Clerk to remain in the race, I feel it is the right decision for me to step aside at this time.

I hold a deep respect for this position and the responsibilities it carries, and I remain dedicated to serving our community. This experience has strengthened my commitment to public service, and I plan to step forward again in the future.

Thank you to everyone who offered support, encouragement, and conversations along the wayโ€”it truly means a lot.

I look forward to staying involved and continuing to serve our community.

Excited to be running for Clerk of Courts! ๐Ÿ˜

In the next couple of weeks coming up, Iโ€™ll be out in the community collecting signatures to get on the ballot. Iโ€™d truly appreciate your supportโ€”whether thatโ€™s signing, sharing, or simply offering encouragement.

Thank you for being part of this journeyโ€”Iโ€™m looking forward to whatโ€™s ahead.

Election Day is coming up on April 7th - make sure you get out and vote! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธEvery election matters, and your voice truly makes a difference.

While this is not the election I am running in (mine is in November), I'll be starting to collect signatures in April. If you would like to help by collecting signatures for my campaign, please message me.... ๐Ÿ˜ Your support means so much, I am incredibly excited for what's ahead!

There is also the possibility of a primary on August 12th. If that happens, I'll keep you in the loop - and I would be on the ballot in both August and November.

In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful sunny weather that is supposed to come our way! ๐ŸŒž
Thank you, as always, for your encouragement and support! ๐Ÿ˜

Every year our amazing community comes together to create one of the brightest, most beautiful Christmas traditions around - and it's all thanks to Lights of the Northwoods and the army of volunteers who freeze their fingers off putting it together. โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
This event is truly powered by kindness, hard work, and a whole lot of warm mittens.
TONIGHT, the Rhinelander Lions Club is hosting! (They'll also be hosting again on December 12th, so two chances to say hi)
I'll be there tonight too- currently layering up in my ice fishing gear because it's a cozy -5 degrees out. If you see someone waddling around like the little brother in the Christmas Story... That's probably me. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ›„
And another shout-out to another organization close to my heart.
๐Ÿ’™ Rhinelander Special Olympics will be hosting on December 19th! ๐Ÿ’™ All donations go directly to great local organizations making a real difference. Hope to see you out there tonight - stay warm, stay merry and thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who make this tradition shine! โœจ๐ŸŽ

Wishing everyone a warm, festive Thanksgiving!!!
๐Ÿฆƒ May your homes be full of laughter, love, and those little traditions that make the holidays feel like home.
-To all of the deer hunters out there- Congratulations on a successful season so far, and please stay safe as you head into the woods. ๐ŸฆŒ
If you are out and about, be sure to stop by and see the beautifully decorated courthouse. It is absolutely glowing this year!
-As we celebrate, let's remember and embrace the traditions passed down through our families - the ones that remind us where we come from and who we share life with. โ™ฅ๏ธ
And just as a community note: the Clerk of Courts election will be in November 2026. Be sure to stay informed and participate in the process when the time comes. ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ท

My family!! โ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ As many of you know, I was born and raised right here in beautiful Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Here is a little about my journey....
Growing up here shaped who I am. My very first job was at McDonald's, earning a whopping $3.35 an hour! I was lucky to have great managers like Jim Perry and Norm Fish, who taught me the value of hard work (and the art of not burning the fries!) lol
While putting myself through school, I worked at a fine-dining restaurant. The Rhinelander Cafe and Pub was owned by Peter Vlahakis, where I learned even more about dedication, service and community. Peter often shared stories of the Great Depression, telling how they would feed people at the back door that could not afford a meal. Those stories stayed with me - reminders of compassion, humility and helping where we can.
For over 20 years, I have been proud to serve Oneida County - In Social Services under Paul Spencer, and for the last nine as the Chief Deputy Clerk in the County Clerks Office with Tracy Hartman. I love this work, and I care deeply about serving our community with integrity, professionalism and kindness. As I take this step, I ask for your support and encouragement.
