Rice Lake is a community of 8320 located in northwest Wisconsin. The school district covers 241 square miles and is one of the largest communities located between Eau Claire (60 miles), Duluth/Superior (100 miles), and the Twin Cities (100 miles). The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire– Barron County as well as the Northwood Technical College are within the Rice Lake community. Non-discrimination statement:

Heading to the state soccer tournament or watching from home? Here is how to catch the games

You can stream all four championship matches for free on WKOW.com, WAOW.com, WXOW.com, or WQOW.com. They will also be live on the 27 News Now, News 9 WAOW, WXOW News 19 La Crosse, and WQOW News apps—no account needed.

For the semifinal games, you will need an NFHS Network pass. Subscriptions are $13.99 a month at wiaa.tv or nfhsnetwork.com. Replays will go up on demand on NFHS 72 hours after the tournament.

Join us for our annual Veterans Day Program at Rice Lake Middle School. Our 8th grade band and choir will be performing, and everyone in the community is welcome to attend.

Just a heads-up for neighbors and attendees: the program will include a 21-gun salute. Students are also encouraged to wear red, white, and blue that day.

7th graders brought so much color to the halls for their fall coloring contest. Check out the winners and their amazing artwork. We had a few different categories this year, and picking the winners was not easy.

Huge thank you to all the speakers who dropped by our middle school homerooms for Career Day! Our students had a blast hearing about all the different paths they can take in the future.

Congratulations to Rice Lake High School Senior Quinn Ebner on winning the Wisconsin Varsity State Championship for cross country mountain bike racing at Trek Trails in Waterloo, WI! This marks Quinn's third state title. He finished the course in an hour and 16 minutes, one minute ahead of second place. Way to go Quinn!
