Thank you for your continued service and dedication to our great City

National Public Works Week is May 17-23!

The annual observance shines a spotlight on the dedicated men and women who help keep communities like Richardson running every day.

During last night's City Council meeting, Richardson’s Public Services staff were recognized with a proclamation honoring their work in recycling and solid waste collection, water and sewer maintenance, street maintenance, and water and sewer rehabilitation.

Dear Neighborhood and Community Relations.
Update on upcoming Street Rehabilitation

The final phase of the City’s Arterial and Collector Street Rehabilitation Program work will begin on Belt Line Road on Monday, May 4 and take place in two phases. The program is an ongoing initiative to repair, upgrade and extend the life of major roadways throughout the community by replacing worn patches of concrete.

Crews will begin on Belt Line’s westbound lanes between Bowser Road and Plano Road, with one lane closed at all times and another temporary lane closure in place during non-peak hours. At least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

Work between Bowser and Plano is expected to be complete by mid-June, weather permitting. Once complete, crews will move west on Belt Line to complete the stretch between Walton Street and Bowser Road. The work from Walton Street to Bowser Road is expected to be complete by mid-to-late summer, weather permitting.

This second phase is being coordinated in conjunction with the Main Street/Greenville project, where pavement work is expected to wrap up by the end of June. More information on the second phase will be provided prior to work beginning.

JJ Pearce HOA Annual General Meeting.
Another engaging neighborhood.
I love more than anything to take part with our wonderful citizens and neighborhoods.

We are so fortunate to live in an incredible community.

Thanks you for having the City Council and a big thanks to our City Manger; Don Magner for updating JJ Pierce on the current Bond Propositions and Charter Election.
