Healthier Texas Community Challenge starts today!

The eight-week competition is a great opportunity for you to get motived and re-commit to staying on track in reaching your 2026 health and fitness goals.

Texans across the state will compete and earn points by being active and recording activities on the Wellnify app, now available to download for free. People who sign up on behalf of their city also earn points for their community with every action they submit.

During the challenge, the City will be offering free fitness and healthy eating classes.

Due to winter weather conditions, City facilities will remain closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to ongoing severe winter weather impacts.

While City facilities remain physically closed, staff will be available to respond to e-mails and return phone calls, though response times may be delayed.
