🇺🇸⚓ HAPPY 251ST BIRTHDAY, UNITED STATES NAVY! ⚓🇺🇸

Today, October 13, we proudly celebrate 251 years of courage, honor, sacrifice, and unwavering service from the United States Navy! ❤️🤍💙

Since 1775, the brave men and women of the U.S. Navy have stood watch over our seas, defended our freedoms, and answered the call to serve our great nation.

From the sailors who served generations ago to those protecting our country today, we honor your bravery, dedication, and sacrifices.

Here at Utah Honor Flight, we are especially grateful for our Navy Veterans, whose service and sacrifices have helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today. 🇺🇸

⚓ To every Navy Veteran, active-duty sailor, and military family — THANK YOU!

May we never forget those who served, those who continue to serve, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

🎉 Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Navy!

Fair Winds and Following Seas! ⚓💙

Back in July, we shared that MISSION BBQ locations across the country raised an incredible $373,198 for Honor Flight through their American Heroes Cup campaign.

Now we finally get to share some pretty exciting Utah numbers…

🥁🥁🥁 MISSION BBQ Riverdale raised $6,052 for Utah Honor Flight!

BUT WAIT…there’s more!! 🎉

We are so incredibly grateful to ALL of our Utah MISSION BBQ locations that participated and supported our Veterans. Every cup purchased and every donation helped make this possible!

A HUGE congratulations and thank you to the Riverdale team for leading the entire country in cup sales. Apparently Utah really does know how to show up for our Veterans! ❤️🤍💙

And we hear there are more MISSION BBQ locations coming to Utah…we can’t wait!! 😉

Sometimes you discover something that just stops you in your tracks ❤️

We recently realized that Harwood Mechanical has been quietly supporting Utah Honor Flight with a monthly donation for SIX YEARS!!!!

Month after month, year after year, their generosity has continued—and those donations have added up to more than $25,000 in support of our Veterans 🇺🇸

We are incredibly grateful and a little embarrassed that this has gone unnoticed for way too long!

So today we want to give a VERY overdue and very heartfelt THANK YOU for six years of supporting our mission and the Veterans we have the privilege of serving.

Support like this makes Honor Flight possible. It helps us continue taking our Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor and reminds us just how fortunate we are to have businesses in our community that believe in what we do.

⚠️ Please be cautious! Several Facebook groups are presenting themselves as official Honor Flight Network groups and advertising merchandise like the hoodie pictured below.

This is not official Honor Flight merchandise, and proceeds from these sales do not support Honor Flight Network, any Honor Flight hubs, or our mission of honoring veterans.

Using the Honor Flight name or logo does not mean a group or seller is affiliated with our organization.

Utah Honor Flight does have merchandise for sale on our website, and we do earn a commission off those sales, but we do not put the link to shop on social media.

Thank you for helping us spread the word and looking out for our Honor Flight community across the nation! 🇺🇸

⭐️🇺🇸 Honoring Our Gold Star Families 🇺🇸⭐️

Yesterday was Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, but their sacrifice deserves to be remembered every day.

Today, Utah Honor Flight continues to honor the mothers, fathers, spouses, children, siblings, and loved ones who carry the unimaginable loss of a service member who gave their life in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

Their sacrifice did not end on the battlefield—it lives on in the families who carry their memory forward.

To every Gold Star Family: we see you, we remember with you, and we will never forget your hero. 🇺🇸
