Happy American Archives Month!

Happy ! Following last week, we’re spotlighting the Digital Records Division at the National Archives, whose dedicated work ensures our nation’s digital records are preserved and accessible.

The Digital Records Division oversees every stage of the archival lifecycle for born-digital federal records, accessioning digital record types in over 60 formats ranging from computer aided design (CAD) drawings and digital cinema to textual data, spreadsheets, web records, and more. 💾💻

​Many holdings are available in the National Archives Catalog at catalog.archives.gov for the public to explore online or download the full data files.

TODAY! We are at the North Sevier Recreation Center upstairs! Bring your items early today. Choose up to 6 meaningful items related to Sevier County people, places, or events. Bring them in from 9 AM to 6 PM. Tell us what you know about them, and we'll take it from there.

It’s time to gather your family records! This Thursday and Friday, bring your treasured family and historical records to Rescue Your Heritage and have them professionally digitized FREE! You will receive a digital copy on a USB drive.

What can you bring?

✍️ Journals
💌 Letters and documents
📷 Photographs and photo albums

The professional Kindex team, Salina Stake FamilySearch Center volunteers, and Sevier County Archives and Heritage Services will be ready to carefully receive your records and help preserve them for generations to come.
