🚒🚑 Proud to Serve, Proud to Partner with Our Community! ❤️

Richland County EMS recently had the privilege of participating by alongside Richland Center fire department during Fire Prevention Week and partnering with The Richland Hospital for their Student Career Day!

Both opportunities allowed us to connect with our community, promote safety, and introduce students and families to the important work our emergency responders and healthcare professionals do every day.

🔥 Fire Prevention Week gave us the opportunity to support fire safety education and highlight the importance of working together to keep our community safe.

🏥 Student Career Day at Richland Hospital provided a wonderful opportunity to engage with students, share insight into emergency medical services, and inspire the next generation of healthcare and emergency response professionals.

At Richland County EMS, we believe strong community partnerships are essential to building a safer, healthier, and more prepared community. We are grateful to our local fire department and Richland Hospital for including us in these meaningful events and for their continued commitment to education, teamwork, and public service.

Thank you for allowing Richland County EMS to be part of these great community initiatives! We look forward to continuing to work together to educate, serve, and support the people who call our community home. ❤️

🚨 TODAY IS NATIONAL MOVE OVER DAY — OCTOBER 17! 🚨

❤️🚑 Richland County EMS reminds everyone: SAFETY FIRST!

Every day, our EMS crews, firefighters, law enforcement officers, tow operators, and roadside workers put themselves at risk to help others. When you see emergency lights flashing, your actions behind the wheel can make a life-saving difference.

🚗 Remember these four important steps:

➡️ MOVE OVER when approaching stopped emergency vehicles or roadside workers, as required by law.

🐢 SLOW DOWN as you approach an emergency scene.

↔️ GIVE SPACE whenever it is safe and lawful to do so.

📵 STAY FOCUSED and avoid distractions while driving.

Every first responder deserves to return home safely to their family after every shift.

Join Richland County EMS in protecting the people who protect our communities.

MOVE OVER. SLOW DOWN. SAVE LIVES.
