A super big shout out to the Friends of the Richland Community Library! The Friends of RCL was established in 1973 when the library was still in the basement of the Richland Community Hall and they’ve been doing wonderful things for the library ever since.

This month you may have noticed our Wild Thing scarecrow. The supplies to build it were funded by the Friends. You may also have noticed the new Children’s computer. Funded by the Friends and the Rotary! Have you been upstairs to see our new Maker Cart? It was purchased with funds from the Joan Split Foundation, and a grant from the Friends helps to stock it with craft supplies! Our new RCL banner? Funded by Friends! Thank you Friends of RCL!

This Week in Adult Programming:

The second Tuesday was our monthly Cookbook Club. We made dishes from Indian(ish) by Priya Krishna. From Dal to Paneer to Lassi, all the dishes were vibrant, tasty and a great introduction to Indian cuisine.

Wednesday was Craft & Jam! We did embroidery on some spooky old photos while jammin' out to some Halloween classics.

On Thursday, our RCL Book Club hosted their bi-monthly social hour before diving into a discussion on Weyward by Emilia Hart.
