We were honored to welcome the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science as we broke ground on EMSL's Microbial Molecular Phenotyping Capability (M2PC), a first-of-its-kind autonomous laboratory! 🎉

Located on the Richland, WA campus of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, M2PC will transform how researchers identify, grow, and optimize microbial investigations—decreasing experimental timeframes from years to months or even just weeks.

Help us celebrate postdocs moving scientific discovery forward! 🎊

Postdoctoral researchers at EMSL bring new questions, specialized expertise, and fresh approaches to our fundamental scientific research—helping shape where our work goes next.

In recognition of National Postdoc Appreciation Week, we asked six such researchers to share their experiences at our user facility.
