It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own, William Robishaw.

William proudly served as an active member of the Back Swamp Volunteer Fire Department while he and his family was answering the call to serve our nation in the United States Marine Corps. After faithfully serving his country, and community he was honorably discharged and recently returned home.

Whether he was serving his community or his country, William demonstrated a commitment to helping others and living a life of service. His dedication, friendship, and willingness to answer the call will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

On behalf of the officers and members of the Back Swamp Volunteer Fire Department, we extend our deepest condolences to William’s family, friends, and fellow Marines during this incredibly difficult time.

Please keep the Robishaw family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the days ahead.

Rest easy, brother. Your watch is over. We have it from here.

Semper Fidelis.
