Leaf pickup starts next week on Thursday, October 29th!
Moving forward we will be going around on every Monday and Thursday, weather permitting. We do not pick an end date until we feel like majority of the leaves have fallen. Please keep the following things in mind:
🍁 Leaves should be raked to the curb the night before. The truck starts driving around first thing in the morning.
🍁Do not move your piles out into the street too early. If you missed the leaf pickup on Monday, you should wait until Wednesday to move your leaves to the curb.
🍁If you see that we are anticipating inclement weather, like rain, please do not move the leaves to the curb. We can't pick up in the rain.
🍁 Leaves should be no more than 5 feet from the curb line. Cars still need to be able to drive by.
🍁 Piles of leaves should not be placed within 10 feet of any catch basin or within 20 feet of any intersection.
🍁 Do not cover up, hide, or block fire hydrants with piles of leaves.
🍁 Make sure you do not have any sticks or trash in your pile of leaves.
