WOW. What an incredible night! Our Celebration of Hope on October 15 was a night to celebrate hope and the endless possibilities of our scholars. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, partners, and friends, our event raised more than $975,000 to support the young people at the heart of everything we do! We are simply overwhelmed and filled with gratitude.

Our deepest gratitude to our amazing presenting sponsor, Emerson, gracious host Rene Knott, committed donors and Committee Chairs Jim and Cheryl Mather, our Alumni speaker Zion Murphy, all of our scholars in attendance, and generous in-kind donors for our auction and raffles, including Neustaedter's Jewelers, who provided the exquisite Diamond Bar.

We also thank and congratulate our award winners recognized for their deep devotion to youth, education, and the mission of Hope Ignites St. Louis: Melissa Dawson, Deloitte, and the late Richard Nemanick.

To everyone who joined us and gave from your heart, know that you are nurturing potential, opening doors, and empowering our scholars to become well-educated, career-ready men and women for others.

Our friends from Archford are back! They swapped the rocket lab for the kitchen and cooked up a spaghetti dinner side by side with our scholars.

Over sauce and stories, the Archford team shared how they found their way into the financial industry, and our scholars learned that teamwork is the secret ingredient, whether you’re making a meal or managing wealth. 💪

Thank you, Archford, for another fun evening on campus! Stay tuned for our next adventure together. ✨

A SNEAK PEEK: As we get ready for our Celebration of Hope event next week, our scholars are stepping in front of the camera to help bring this year’s story to life! We are tremendously grateful to Captiva Marketing for once again donating their talents to share the stories of Hope Ignites St. Louis and the incredible young people at the heart of everything we do.

Average cost for a Jeff Bezos rocket? $150 million. Our scholars have $20 to build theirs!

So grateful to our partners at Archford, who are working with our Academy scholars on a STEM + financial management project that challenges them to purchase all the components of a rocket they will build and launch with a budget of only $20.

Scholars have been offered stickers, glitter, and other fun extras to tempt them into spending their hard-earned cash and have to weigh their wants against their needs.

Their rockets may not be headed for space, or have a billionaire behind them, but they’ll be taking flight at a park in Fenton later this month, putting scholars' STEM and decision making skills to the test. 🚀

Minding our manners. Thanks to some wonderful volunteers who lovingly worked with our scholars on practicing proper etiquette, a timeless skill they will carry with them to all of the opportunities ahead!
