17th Annual Turkey Giveaway thanks to helped us ensure that 21 families within our community had turkeys and the fixin’s for Thanksgiving.

500 turkeys and boxes of fixin’s left the HPAL office this morning as various community organizations, PAL chapters, churches, and the police department themselves split up to serve the areas our wonderful city that we all love so much.

We’re very grateful to have been a small portion of this mornings community service.

New shed is going up 😝.

Gently used coat drive collection happening in just two weeks!

Wonderfully orchestrated by VCU military student services this drive will be donating different gently used winter items to DV shelters, homeless shelters and RPAL!

If you’ve got some old winter gear that you’ve been thinking about donating we can help!

We can accept donations at our office or at the even itself (there’s free lunch provided!)

*the mention of the Rams horns is right outside of the VCU commons on W MAIN ST.

Fall session graduates in just a few short weeks!

So far they’ve learned various Culinary Occupational & Other Keystone Skills in the kitchen like:
-kitchen prep
-food prep
-kitchen customs
-kitchen organization
-safety procedures
-various recipes
-meal presentation
-how to present themselves as a professional chef

We just wanted to take a second to say a huge huge thank you to our sponsors of this years Clay Shoot Fundraiser like of Glen Allen for fulling covering the lunch for all shooters !

In fact they brought so much that every single shooter, range staff, and volunteer was fed (twice if they wanted) and left us all feeling very grateful for the support so that we could take the money brought in from the event and use it to benefit the kids of the Greater Richmond Area.
