Mr. K. and his 9-year-old rescue dog, Elvis, share their gratitude for ACTS. Back in March, ACTS helped him when he was in a rough spot and his housing was threatened.

ACTS helps neighbors, like Mr. K., who have experienced a setback that puts them just a step away from homelessness. We help them achieve housing stability and avoid homelessness by providing financial assistance, housing counseling, and community resources.

Thank you TowneBank and Village Bank, A Division of TowneBank for gifting these care bags for us to share with our neighbors in housing crisis. For some, toiletries can become a second priority to paying the rent or utilities, so these gift bags are a great way to help our neighbors as they get back on their feet.

We are thrilled to announce that in March, our Chief Operating Officer, Hana Yun, graduated as a part of Virginia Housing Alliance's inaugural Housing Leadership Institute (HLI) cohort! For 10 months, Hana dedicated herself to growing and learning alongside 14 other affordable housing and community development professionals.

Hana's commitment to excellence is truly inspiring, and we are proud of all that she has accomplished during this program. We can't wait to see how she will apply her newfound knowledge and insights to further our mission and drive positive change in our community.

Today, we have been connecting and learning together at Homeward’s Best Practices Conference on Solving Homelessness. In our ever-changing economic climate, it is so important to keep up-to-date on connections and resources available to us as a community. Thank you, Homeward and Virginia Housing, for putting together this conference and helping us better serve our neighbors in Richmond!
