The Virginia Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a force of dedicated volunteers who stand ready to support the community in the event of a public health emergency. Each of the 31 local MRC units is comprised of teams of medical and public health professionals who, along with interested community members, volunteer their skills, expertise and time to suppport ongoing public health initiatives and assist during emergencies throughout Virginia.

Today is officially VA MRC Day here in Virginia. Thank you to all of our volunteers that have served our community before and during COVID. We are so grateful to serve along side you all. Happy VA MRC Day!

We had a “sweet” time today at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center! We are there every week to give community members COVID vaccinations. Our volunteers were in the Holiday spirit today. Go team!

Our volunteers were busy today! We had our first large pediatric clinics at Fairfield MS and MLK MS! Volunteers served in every role, including distractors! We had an extra special guest, and honorary MRC member, Alice! Thanks to everyone for helping make our events so successful!
