The flood earlier this month was devastating but here is a picture from 1913. This is the Starr Piano Factory. This flood killed hundreds in Indiana and Ohio.

Big changes are coming to Richmond Meltdown!

With extreme cold temperatures in this week’s forecast, event organizers are embracing the weather and shifting plans, giving world-class ice carvers the perfect conditions to create a massive, Ice Alaska–style showpiece rarely seen in the Midwest.

While the spotlight will be on this large-scale centerpiece, event co-chair Alison Zajdel assures fans that all the traditional Richmond Meltdown favorites are still happening.
