The single best way to reduce the risk of seasonal flu and its potentially serious complications is to get the Influenza Vaccination each year.
Good health habits also reduce getting the flu like avoiding people who are sick, covering your cough, and washing your hands often can help stop the spread of germs and prevent respiratory illnesses like flu. Flu shots are no-cost to all enrolled Veterans at our sites.

💕 Walking Together for Breast Cancer Awareness! 🎀

A sea of pink, steps of hope, and a community united in support!

On October 14, Veterans, staff, and supporters came together for our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at the Richmond VA Medical Center and Fredericksburg Health Care Center.

Hosted by the Women Veterans Program, the walk brought our VA community together to raise awareness, celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and show support for everyone impacted by breast cancer.

💗 Every step was a reminder that no one walks this journey alone.

Thank you to everyone who participated, wore pink, and helped make this event meaningful!
