The Fort Bend County District Attorney represents the people of the State of Texas in all criminal cases in the 268th Judicial District.

It is the primary duty of the District Attorney and his assistants, not to convict, but to see that justice is done.

We met Arav Mathias to learn about his nonprofit Gifting Kindness today and were impressed with the passion and heart this young man has for helping others. Check out that link above to see the amazing things our youth are doing and how you can be a part of something great. Thank you Kyle Dobbs for introducing him to us! We are better together.

As May ends, we reflect on a month of honoring service, protecting seniors, and supporting mental health. Thank you for standing with law enforcement, recognizing our AAPI community, and remembering those who gave all. Our work continues into summer with renewed purpose.

MYTH: “Elder abuse only happens in nursing homes.”
FACT: Most elder abuse occurs at home, often by family members or caregivers. Abuse can happen anywhere. Stay alert, stay involved, and report concerns to protect vulnerable seniors.

DA Middleton and staff welcomed Clarence the Wonder Dog to the office, 6 years after being shot in the head and left for dead. Clarence's will to live reinforces our resolve to prosecute animal cruelty cases - Clarence's abuser is still banned from owning animals and still paying for Clarence's medical bills. The original animal cruelty investigator from then FBC Pct. 3 Constable's Office (now with our office) and original prosecutor (retired) both came to wish Clarence well!

CONGRATULATIONS Assistant District Attorney Alison Baimbridge!

Governor Greg Abbott appointed Fort Bend Prosecutor Alison Baimbridge to the Texas Violent Gang Task Force today. The task force forms strategic partnerships among local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies to proactively track gang activity and the spread of gangs statewide.

We are blessed to have such talent fighting for Fort Bend citizens, and talent which is recognized by the governor!
