Masood, CCC School Liaison, took a group of families from our refugee services program to the Children's Museum of Richmond!
The children got to explore the museum’s designated play areas for different age groups and visited the exhibits designed to resemble real life environment! It was a great time exploring and playing!😃

After fleeing violence and enduring the long process of legally resettling in the United States, refugee families must then learn how to navigate an entirely new way of life, including a new (and often confusing) healthcare system. 😨
That’s why our medical liaisons are so important. ❤️
They help refugee families understand the healthcare system, access medical care, and navigate challenges that many of us take for granted.
