Second grade celebrated their growth today as measured by the End-of-Year MAP assessment! 🎉

Students who demonstrated growth in both reading and math earned special passes. Students who met their goal in both reading and math had the fun opportunity to “tattoo” their teacher as a reward for their hard work and achievement.
Students who reached Masters level in both reading and math earned an even bigger celebration—they got to surprise Mrs. Sarah L. Hightower with silly string! 🎊
We are incredibly proud of all of our students for their dedication, progress, and accomplishments this year!

Our students had the opportunity to design and build their own robots using gears and a variety of components, then bring their creations to life by controlling them with remote controls. It was truly rewarding to observe the wide range of unique designs and to witness their creativity and problem-solving skills in action.

Today, we had the honor of welcoming back Carter’s very first class of former 5th graders as they celebrate their high school graduation!

These seniors were part of Carter’s very first year open, walking our halls as 5th graders in 2018–2019. Now, they are preparing to walk across the graduation stage — a milestone that is so special for our Carter family. 💙💚

Seeing our former Coyotes return was a full-circle moment and a reminder of how much they have grown since their days at Carter. We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and cannot wait to see all they accomplish in the future! ✨

Once a Coyote, always a Coyote! 🐾🎓
