We would like to introduce you to a few things we’ve been working on.

We’ve completed construction on our state of the art Training Facility. This one of a kind facility was designed and built by our firefighters to withstand the rigors of repeated training for years to come while keeping the safety of our members at the forefront. There is nothing quite like it anywhere in the area. It allows us to conduct a wide array of trainings that would be nearly impossible without a facility like this. We can conduct live burns, search and rescues, window bailouts, and forcible entry along with many other things, and this facility was built with 100% private funding at no cost to our tax payers.

If you want to learn more and see pictures of our Training Facility, check out our brand new website. It’s a great way to stay up to date with what’s going on at the Fire Department. You can meet our members, view some of our equipment, see training photos, get burning permit information, learn more about what we do and even fill out an application to join our team and serve our community! Take a look around the site and drop us a line!

The official website for the Chain of Lakes Fire Department, providing public information on members, apparatus, and how to join or support. It also offers a private portal for members to manage training, conduct truck checks, and access Standard Operating Guidelines.

It’s always a great day to do some training!

Today we conducted live fire training in our training facility. Being able to hone our skills in a safe, controlled environment, with live fire that allows us to see the smoke behavior, feel the heat, and watch how the fire reacts is truly a training opportunity second to none!

This fire is just beginning to fill the structure with smoke and is about 2 minutes away from the attack team making entry and advancing to the seat of the fire.
