This National Crime Victims' Rights Week, we honor the resilience, courage, and determination of crime victims and survivors in our community. As prosecutors, we are committed to ensuring justice isn't just served—it is meaningful, supportive, and healing for those impacted by crime. This week reminds us of the importance of amplifying their voices, protecting their rights, and offering pathways to recovery.

Here in Richmond, we are proud to partner with and support **Richmond Victim Witness Services** (Victim Witness | Richmond), who provide advocacy, resources, and financial support to victims of crime. Their work ensures that no one has to face the journey to justice alone.

On Wednesday all the dogs came to work. While incarcerated, many of our clients lose their pets. Some have the opportunity to work with/train dogs while incarcerated. When you come to OAR, there’s usually always at least one dog here. Our participants love dog therapy. #rva #reentrymatters #dogsatwork ❤️🐾
