Join us for a Community Meeting to hear the latest updates on Gilpin’s Build First Project #1 and what’s ahead for the community. Mon. Oct. 19, 2026 @ 6 p.m at Baker Senior Apartments – Community Meeting Room at 100 West Baker Street. Enter through the rear of the building. After RRHA stepped in to rescue Grace Place in 2022, the Agency is now working with developer People Restoring Communities (PRC) to bring the historic 400 East Grace Street property back to life—with plans for 68 affordable homes for seniors in downtown Richmond! The Agency has closed on a ground lease for 400 East Grace Street, advancing a $37 million historic renovation project that will create 68 affordable homes for seniors in downtown Richmond. THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE! RRHA is ALL about our communities—and on Sept. 19, we brought neighbors together for an afternoon of fun, food, music and connection at our combined Community Day + Falling for the Culture celebration! From 1–5 p.m., more than 100 residents, families and friends came out to enjoy music, food, vendors, backpacks and diaper giveaways, community resources and connections and LOTS of good vibes!

Our Resident Services team and ROSS Coordinators were in the mix, connecting residents with resources, signing folks up for programs and making sure our communities knew: RRHA is here!

GAME ON! Every Wednesday, Whitcomb Court is the place to be! On Sept. 30, 25 students ages 8–16 from RRHA’s Whitcomb Court and Gilpin communities came together for an afternoon of e-gaming, friendly competition and plenty of fun! From Roblox to Madden NFL and NBA 2K, our young gamers are doing more than playing—they’re building skills like: Problem-solving & critical thinking, Teamwork & communication, Strategy & decision-making, Focus & concentration, and Sportsmanship & resilience. And getting to the game is easy! Need a ride? The RRHA van picks up students at the Gilpin Management Office at 3:45 p.m. every Wednesday. Email [email protected] for more information
