Today we had the pleasure of hosting our neighbors from Townewest Elementary at the station for a special behind-the-scenes tour!

The kids got an up-close look at our apparatus, learned how our crews respond to emergencies, and even got to explore the fire engine. Our firefighters enjoyed answering questions, demonstrating equipment, and sharing what it means to serve the community.

Events like these are a great opportunity to build relationships, educate the next generation, and hopefully inspire a few future firefighters along the way.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and staff for visiting us—we loved having you at the station!

Over the past six weeks, multiple departments across our county came together with one mission: sharpening our ability to deliver victim-centric incident command when it matters most.

This collaborative training brought together Battalion Chiefs, Company Officers, and Ride-Up Company Officers from across jurisdictions. We focused on aggressive, coordinated command strategies that prioritize life saving utilizing appropriate risk management— ensuring that regardless of patch, apparatus color, or station location, we operate as one team on the fireground.

The level of participation and engagement over these six weeks speaks volumes about the commitment within this county. Interagency coordination doesn’t happen by accident — it happens through intentional training, shared standards, and strong professional relationships.

We are proud of the collaboration demonstrated and the unified commitment to ensuring that when the call comes in, we are ready to work seamlessly together for those who need us most.

Strong work!
