Kyle Middleton: Celebrate his Life

Cannot quite understand it's almost 13 years since you've been gone...But never ever forgotten.💖

I know I haven't kept up with Kyle's page, mostly because I post about him on my own personal page. which has always been public so that anyone who wants to know about him or see photos can do so. I'm honored when people, his friends and family remember Kyle and I love to share his life. I always thought he was an amazing young boy, but then all moms think that about their kids, so it touches my soul to the very core when someone else thinks he was great as well.

It's almost 12 years since he was killed, I've been fussed at for saying "killed", and asked to say "die"or "passed away", but that's not what happened. If my bluntness upsets you, I apologize, but I won't change and making everything rosy wouldn't do Kyle or myself any justice. Average life and death isn't rosy and I'm damned proud of Kyle for everything he ever did.

I won't make this depressing, or sad, I feel fortunate to have had Kyle for 26 years, he did so many things, I am grateful he did so. He thanked me once for raising him to be independent, I told him I thought of it as giving him enough rope to hang himself with. He stretched that rope many times, but he always did good.

Here are a couple of emails from him from ODU, I will share more if you like, I think they're pretty funny. FYI, in the email where his first sentence he writes, "That's terrible news", was about my mom having health issues and going into assisted living. She really was okay, just pi**ed that she couldn't go home by herself. It's okay to laugh. I did. I still do.
