We’re hiring a Nursing Career Pathways Manager to join our Virginia Nursing Workforce Center team!

Based at Petersburg High School, this role will lead the Petersburg Career and Technical Center’s Practical Nursing (LPN) Program and help high school students and adult learners progress from the classroom to licensure and nursing practice.

We’re looking for an RN who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and opening doors to nursing careers.

📍 Petersburg, VA, with required travel
💼 Full-time position funded through a four-year grant
💰 $90,000–$100,000 annually, plus benefits

It was an honor to share VHWDA’s mission, programs, and impact at the 2026 Virginia Education and Workforce Conference in Richmond!

Henry W. Lewis III, our Workforce Training Program Manager, spoke on behalf of VHWDA, highlighting who we are, our priority areas, and the workforce training programs that are helping strengthen Virginia’s health workforce.
