Our friend ._.eye is cranking out some really amazing spooky art (and he also does really amazing non-spooky art like portraits of our cats). Check him out, give him a a follow, support your local artists.

Day 2: all done but the upstairs. Again, so much help from amazing neighbors, friends, and family.

Takedown: Day 1. A tornado of friends, family, and neighbors blew through. All the blow molds packed away and a lot of other lights packed or drying out.

We put out a mailbox in 2011 for letters to Santa, thinking a few kids on the block would write and we would write back. This has become something we never imagined it would be, and likely the best thing we do all year. Santa never discusses presents, has a sweet wax seal, and mostly tells very weird stories about antics at the North Pole. Easily my favorite part of Christmas.
