Get ready, North Richmond, Oakland and Bay Area! We have a special treat for you at CHDC's 36th Anniversary Block Party: Oakland's own Latoya London is coming to perform live!

Join us Saturday, October 17, from noon to 3:00 PM at 1535 Fred Jackson Way, next to the CHDC office. We start with the groundbreaking of Heritage Point Grocery Store, then the party takes over with music, food, a Kids Zone, our Community Memory Wall, and the CHDC Activity Passport.

And on Saturday, October 17, we're taking the next BIG step: breaking ground on Heritage Point Grocery Store, bringing fresh food to the neighborhood and putting an end to a food desert this community has lived with for far too long!
