Good neighbors really do make good sandwiches. 🥪💚

Every week, our Meals on Wheels kitchen is filled with people who help us care for our Ridgefield neighbors — and some of that help comes from other local businesses right here in our community.

We’re so grateful to our friends at Genoa Deli & Pizza for providing the deli items that go into the sandwiches our volunteers prepare and our drivers deliver to our clients.

It’s one of those partnerships that reminds us Meals on Wheels is about so much more than what happens inside our kitchen. It takes local businesses, volunteers, donors and neighbors all pitching in to take care of one another.

Thank you, Genoa, for being such a good neighbor. 💚
And for helping us make some very good sandwiches. 🥪

Good things grow when a community comes together. 🌿💚

We’re delighted to be a community partner for the Fifth Annual Ridgebury Farm Fête, A Tomorrow Worth Growing, on October 3.

It promises to be a beautiful evening celebrating the people, programs and partnerships that make our Ridgefield community such a special one — with cocktails, dinner by the bite, live music, auctions and stories of impact along the way.
We’re especially happy to join our friends at Ridgebury Farm & Stables and the many local businesses and community partners helping bring the evening to life. 💚

One of our Meals on Wheels clients brought this gorgeous flower into the kitchen this week — a little bit of sunshine on a rainy weekend.

Sometimes kindness is a meal delivered to a neighbor.

And sometimes kindness comes back through the door carrying a flower. 💚
