🚒 COME WATCH YOUR LOCAL VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION! 🚒

The Ridgeley Volunteer Fire Company and Fort Ashby Volunteer Fire Company are teaming up with Capitol Fire Training and Tactical Resource Fire Training LLC to host the Mineral County Heavy Rescue Operations Training Weekend this coming weekend and the public is invited to watch!

Fort Ashby Fairgrounds
Saturday, October 24 & Sunday, October 25
8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. each day

Come see the training, teamwork, and hands-on skills that help prepare your local volunteers for challenging rescue calls. This is a great opportunity to get a closer look at the time and effort they put into serving our communities.

Firefighters who were unable to register are also welcome to observe. We plan to offer another class in the near future!

There will be a designated area for public spectators. Whether you stop by for a little while or spend part of the day with us, we’d love to see you there!

🚨 Fire Prevention at Frankfort Elementary 🚨

The Ridgeley Fire Department along with the Fort Ashby Vol Fire Co and Patterson Creek Volunteer Fire Company spent the day at Frankfort Elementary School proving fire prevention to the students.

We appreciate Frankfort allowing us to come out and teach our youngest neighbors. Parents, keep the conversation going at home: check your smoke alarms and make sure everyone knows your family’s escape plan and outside meeting place.

The October 3rd Steak, Bourbon, and Cigar night has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. All money for tickets has been refunded to the original method of purchase.
