It was a pleasure host our 2026 Industry Appreciation Event at the beautiful Everett Hotel in Winnsboro!

This year’s theme, “Momentum in Motion,” captures the direction Fairfield County is heading as we continue to build on our economic-development successes and create new opportunities for our community.

The event brought together our existing industry partners, community leaders, and economic-development stakeholders for an evening focused on connection, collaboration, and the future of Fairfield County. Events like this give us an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day work, strengthen relationships with the companies that call Fairfield County home, hear directly from our industry partners, and have meaningful conversations about how we can continue supporting their success.

We were also proud to hear from Fairfield County Economic Development Director Ann Broadwater and County Council Chairman Clarence Gilbert, who shared their vision for the future of Fairfield County and the importance of continued investment, partnership, and growth.

Our existing industries are an important part of Fairfield County’s economic foundation. Their investments, jobs, and continued commitment to our community help create opportunities for residents and strengthen the county’s position for future growth.

A sincere thank you to all of our industry partners, community leaders, and guests who joined us and continue to be part of Fairfield County’s story.

The momentum is building. The future is bright. And Fairfield County is in motion.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Dislocated Worker Job Fair today!
Fairfield County partnered with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce and the South Carolina Department of Commerce to bring employers and affected job seekers together—and the response was incredible. Forty-five employers attended looking for people to join their teams. While hundreds of job seekers came out ready to explore new opportunities.
A huge THANK YOU to all the partners who worked behind the scenes to make this event happen! Thank you to all the employers who attended.
And most importantly, thank you to the citizens of Fairfield County and surrounding communities who showed up, made connections and took the next step toward finding employment. Events like this remind us what can happen when our community comes together.
