Don't miss this opportunity to learn critical bystander care that can make all the difference to stop life-threatening bleeding! Worth it!

🩸 STOP THE BLEED Classes Are Back!

It’s been a while since we’ve hosted a public STOP THE BLEED class, and we’re excited to announce that we’re bringing them back with a new, ongoing schedule!

Starting in November, Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad will offer a FREE STOP THE BLEED class on the second Wednesday of every month from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Our first class will be Wednesday, November 11th!

Accidents and serious injuries can happen anywhere, at any time. Whether you’re at home, at work, or out in the community, knowing how to control severe bleeding could help save someone’s life before emergency responders arrive.

During this one-hour, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply direct pressure, pack a wound, and properly use a tourniquet.

📍 Location: Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad
1827 Daniels Creek Road, Collinsville, VA

📅 When: Second Wednesday of every month
🕡 Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
💲 Cost: FREE!

Registration is required, and space is limited. Our new online registration system lets you see upcoming classes and choose the date that works best for you!

What kind of bystander emergency response or safety training are you interested in taking? Do you know when to call 911 and what to do when you do?

Bystanders play a crucial role in emergencies by noticing the incident, recognizing it as an emergency, and deciding whether to intervene. With proper training, bystanders significantly impact outcomes.
