🚑 A Historic Day for Jefferson County! 🚑

This morning marked a major milestone: for the first time in county history, Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service officially began right here in Jefferson County!

Until now, we've relied on Bonneville and Madison Counties to send an ALS ambulance when one was needed. Starting today, we can provide that higher level of care locally, with our neighbors still standing by to back us up during multiple simultaneous calls.

A huge part of making this possible was the formation of the Jefferson Central Ambulance District. Thank you to the Ambulance District Commissioners for your support and trust in helping move emergency services in Jefferson County to ALS.

We also want to thank the Jefferson County Commissioners for their support of our service over the years and throughout this transition. A special thank you to Idaho Falls Fire Department and Madison Fire for their continued support and partnership. We couldn't have done it without you! 👏

This means faster access to advanced, potentially life-saving care for our families, friends, and neighbors. We're proud to serve this community and excited for what's ahead!
